A famed century-old institution “learns” anew

 The Institute of Learning Sciences in National Tsing Hua University was formally established on August 1, 2010, under the Commission of General Education. The Institute currently has 13 full-time (including jointly appointed) faculty members. Under the two main research areas: (a) Psychological Mechanisms and Social/Cultural Contexts and (b) Learning Technologies and Guidance, faculty members’ research interests include cognitive sciences, social psychology, sociology of education, learning technology, and instructional design. Each year the Institute admits 14 master’s students.
